As featured on Channel 4’s ‘Extraordinary Escapes with Sandi Toksvig’ the Hudnalls Hideout Treehouse is an escape like no other, hidden within the depths of the Wye Valley. Believed to be the first A-frame tree house built in the UK this sanctuary was handcrafted by a skilled team with each piece of timber carried to the site by hand due to the remote location. Here you’ll find no wifi and very little phone signal, but arguably the strongest connection you can get to nature in any treehouse stay.

Client Brief.
Our clients bought their property based around the land that came with it, and how it would make the most spectacular setting for a luxury treehouse. They were right - and the perseverance after a long winded process of planning and building has well and truly paid off.
Main Challenges.
Whilst the remote location is what makes this place so special, it made the construction process extremely difficult. The skilled team of carpenters had to carry each piece of timber through the woodland to the site and piece it together in-situ. The flip side being that it is completely hand-built around the features of the land and the branches of the trees.
Outcome.
The treehouse has been an incredible success commercially, and remains fully booked for years ahead. It has featured on Channel 4 and continues to partner up with incredible local companies to further enhance their offering.
