Turning an unloved patio into a garden sun-trap.

This cost-effective extension to a detached dwelling sits within a step in the building which previously contained an unloved patio area. Through the addition of a highly insulated sun-room with glazing on all faces we have not only created a new light-filled space, but also helped to channel sunlight into the surrounding rooms, improving the way in which the downstairs of the house looks and feels.
